You need a separate location that you can go to concentrate.
Don't misunderstand, using the kitchen as a work location isn't a bad idea. Salespeople conduct business in all sorts of challenging locations and environments so you should be able to also.
You should just allocate a small portion of your home that allows you to escape and concentrate on those tasks that demand your undivided attention when you are performing them... your books for instance.
